Arrival and Installation of the Grumman Greenhouse

The "Grumman Greenhouse" has arrived and been installed at Lenfest Plaza. This is a a decommissioned military plane that served as an anti-submarine aircraft flown by the Navy between 1954 and 1976. The aircraft spent most of it's post military life in California as a firefighting plane until it was retired and ended up on eBay earlier this year and purchased by Jordan Griska, the artist. The plane arrived on Thursday October 20th and installation was completed on Friday Oct. 21st.
