Located at 7th and Arch, the AAMP was founded in 1976 in celebration of the nation's Bicentennial. The AAMP is the first institution funded and built by a major municipality to preserve, interpret and exhibit the heritage of African Americans. Website
Using Groupon's offer, I took the opportunity to visit the Museum for $5. For some reason, Galleries 2 and 3 on the upper floors were closed today. Enjoy the journey...ADP
