Philly installed it's first parklet back in August. I finally saw it first hand for the first time on Sunday. I personally love it and wish there were more of it in Center City!
Thanks Andy! It was a fast & fun project to help design. I understand it is a contentious issue to occupy street parking, but let's hope for the pedestrians' sake that these gain in popularity and make their way across the city next season!
